The location of this hotel is absolutely gorgeous, with stunning countryside views and a peaceful atmosphere. The double room we stayed in offered both comfort and beautiful scenery, making it a perfect retreat. The service provided by the staff was impeccable, with the waiter being unobtrusive, helpful, and efficient. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, especially the option to have eggs cooked to one's preference. the library, lounge, and dining room provided a cozy ambience for relaxation. The value for money at this hotel was exceptional, with high-speed WiFi and plenty of parking spaces available.

The conference facilities at this hotel were only average.

The peaceful surroundings of this quaint hotel were perfect for a relaxing getaway. The comfortable beds and clean bathrooms were definitely a plus. The staff was friendly and breakfast had a decent selection. The location was ideal for visiting nearby villages and the beautiful grounds offered a nice place for a walk.

The rooms were a bit dated and could use some updating. There was some mould in the corners and dust in certain areas.

Good value for money, close to Oxford. Staff kind, offered drinks and library access. Nice pub nearby for dinner. Quirky historic house with comfy beds and tea/coffee in rooms. Continental breakfast in beautiful village. Amazing 600-year-old manor and gardens. Peaceful location, ample parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Would love to return and explore more.

The rooms were quaint with comfortable facilities and the continental breakfast was excellent with fresh ingredients. The staff were friendly and the guest information brochure was very helpful in finding nearby attractions.

The rooms were a bit cold and the electrical heater made a loud noise. It was not convenient for travelers with little ones.

The location was amazing, peaceful and quiet with sheep wandering nearby. The manor and gardens were stunning, with a 600-year-old history. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and the room was large and comfortable. The continental breakfast had a good selection and the information folder was clear. I enjoyed sitting outside, reading and drinking tea, in the excellent area to walk around.

    Can recommend this hotel.

Great escape from city life! Lovely place, good and clean, with friendly staff. The room had a nice view of the garden and I was happy with the good choice of teas and coffees provided. The meals were all delicious and of good quality. The peaceful surroundings and rich history made for a nice and quiet stay.

Although the facilities were a bit dated, they were still functional. It would have been nice to see some updates, especially in the bathrooms, to modernize the interior.

We loved staying in this beautiful village, with its outstanding 13th century barns converted into dwellings. The fireplaces and exposed beams added a charming touch to our accommodation. Being located opposite St Paul’s parish was a treat. The staff were great, and the breakfast was delicious. The variety of options and decent coffee made for a great start to our day. Plus, the room facilities were excellent, especially the desk and chair for working. The location itself was superb, with plenty of areas to sit outside, read, and enjoy a cup of tea under the sun and trees. We also appreciated the excellent area for walking. The pub in the village had a nice selection of beer and a changing menu of local, quality food. It was a convenient walking distance from the manor. Lastly, we were able to buy some local honey and quaker items, adding to the overall experience.

    Felt very homey, no complaints.

The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They made sure I had everything I needed and were always ready to assist with any queries or requests. Additionally, the location of the hotel was fantastic. It was surrounded by beautiful scenery and had easy access to nearby attractions. It was a great place to relax and enjoy a peaceful break. One more advantage was the comfortable room with a lovely view, which added to the overall experience.

One disappointment was the lack of options for a cooked breakfast. I was expecting a hot meal but only a continental breakfast was available.

Lovely location surrounded by open space. Beautiful old building with pretty gardens. Staff were helpful and beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The peaceful and quiet location was a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The room was a bit basic and lacking in amenities. The breakfast was advertised as continental, but the selection was limited and not as expected.

Quiet setting with well-maintained grounds and charming village. Surprisingly good shower and unexpected TV in room. Separate room location but enjoyed breakfast in older part of main house. A pleasant and short stay.

Lovely historic building with beautiful grounds. Conveniently close to a pub for dining. Room had a table and chair, comfy bed, and great coffee supply. Enjoyed the separate shower room. Breakfast was excellent with a decent variety and plenty of coffee. Bonus: a wonderful library! 50 words.

I recently stayed at a lovely manor house in a rural location, with various meeting rooms and good accommodation. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the peaceful surroundings made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The gardens were delightful and there was ample parking space. The breakfast was very good, with a variety of continental foods available. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a comfortable retreat.

We stayed in a comfortable double room with a lovely view of the lawns and trees. The room was fresh, clean, and had a feature fireplace. The staff were welcoming and the grounds were beautiful. The hotel offered a range of soft drinks and a continental breakfast. The building had charming period features and cozy seating areas.

The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar for guests, so you'll need to go elsewhere for meals. NB: Local pubs are closed on Monday and Tuesday.
